    Vintage M1 Garand Rifle Stock with Metal
    Fresh from a Dallas Estate comes this walnut stock for an Springfield Armory M1 Garand.
    This example is stamped with a J.L.G. for Col. James L. Guion. This dates it from about 1950- 1953. It also has the crossed cannons and the circled P stamp. This stock set included all the wood pieces and the metal butt plate and swivels.  The stock does have nicks and dings all over but no cracks or signs of repair. It does have a chip up on the top where the receiver fits in.an see. This is a nice honest piece to finish up your period correct Garand project.
