Vintage Dual 1229 Turntable Germany Cover

Description

Vintage Dual 1229 direct drive turntable with plastic cover. Wood base marked United Audio. Tonearm has no cartridge. Plastic cover uses odd 'clips' to hold 3 pcs. together, several are broken. One crack in cover at rear. Below the tonearm there is a drivers license number, appears to only be in the black paint and not the metal. Motor is very! quiet, turntable appears to work but I think it needs restoration, cleaning ,oiling.
