    Vintage 1952 USO Showgirl Pinup Korean War "Show Shop Rebels"
    August 1952 photograph taken by a solider serving overseas in the Korean War, at Kwandee-Ri, Korea. The image shows a smiling showgirl, part of the USO Troupe "Show Shop Rebels". Identified as Mary Phillips on the verso, she was remembered by the Veteran photographer for her high spirits. An unusual intersection of militaria, pin up and vernacular photography. Measures 8" X 10" with hand written notes by the photographer to verso. hand developed. A rare find.
    Photo is protected in a clear, acid free plastic for protection and what can be seen in the photographs.
