Offered for sale is a SL-QD33 Quartz direct drive fully automatic turntable in superb condition. This serial number dates production of this to 6/8/1989, just two months before August 1989 when Technics stopped adding the production day in the serial number. This particular model was the last top of the line fully automatic turntable and was produced unchanged from 1986 until 1994.
Includes all cables (power cord, RCA, and ground wire) and original 45 adapter. This is plug and play and ready to go and soon as you plug it in.
Cartridge mounted is an Audio-Technica AT-122EP. This is an elliptical bonded stylus and was mounted when I received this so no further history is available. I played two records through it today while testing the turntable and it performed well with no issues. Police Zenyatta Mondatta into Klipsch Heresy speakers hit all the right notes for me. Certainly you could upgrade but I found no faults with standard rock through this cart.
This has been in storage for some time, I tested all automatic functions, start, repeat and return and cue up and down and saw no issues.
Condition of the turntable is superb and shows only some light signs of use here and there. Zero damage from misuse or drops or scratches. The dust cover is extra fine with zero damage. Just a touch of some very light scuffs from adult use over the years. No hinge cracks and hinges hold up very strong.
I am an absolute expert turntable packer and have never had an issue with damage during transport and guarantee this arrive looking exactly as it does here.
