The Seydel 1847 has been rated by well known players as the "best out of the box harmonica available" and competitive with customized harmonicas.
    Features of the 1847 CLASSIC
    :
Less air loss due to fine-cut reedplates - optimized flatness and extremely small tolerances between the reed and reedplate
The reeds, the rivets, the cover plates, and the reedplate screws are all made of Stainless Steel!
    Beautiful Sealed Wood Comb
    Rounded Edges
    Bolted Assembly
Wide open back! The overtone-rich sound can spread out unhindered - covers opened wider in  the back and crimped like custom harps.
    Seydel's great customer service reputation.
EACH OF THESE HARPS IS STILL HAND MADE AND HAND TUNED IN KLINGENTHAL GERMANY.  THE REED PLATES AND REED COVERS ARE ATTACHED WITH BOLTS.  This harmonica comes with its own case.
Blues harp legend Charlie Musselwhite has says of Seydel Harmonicas:
"I can't tell you how much I really really really like these harps!"
Seydel is the oldest ongoing harmonica factory, having started in 1847, and it was Hohner's biggest competitor until after World War II,
when it ended up on the wrong side of the Iron Curtain.  It survived that period and is now coming into it's own again, but, unlike Hohner, this is still a small factory still making harmonicas the old fashioned way, on old machinery, and by hand.
They take great pride in their work.  I know, because I visited the factory and met the craftsmen there.
So, why not try one?  Or maybe one of each?  This is the guaranteed lowest authorized advertised price in the world on this model Seydel harmonica.  Eezyreeder is an authorized Seydel Sales Partner.
