have set a new standard in the harmonica industry!  The Seydel 1847 is becoming a favorite of professional players.  They are very durable and last up to 4 times longer than conventional harmonicas and are easy to bend and overblow, as well.  Of course, they sound great!  Seydel harps are still 100% German made and hand tuned!

Seydel is the oldest ongoing harmonica factory, having started in 1847, and it was Hohner's biggest competitor until after World War II,
when it ended up on the wrong side of the Iron Curtain.  It survived that period and is now coming into it's own again, but, unlike Hohner, this is a small factory still making harmonicas the old fashioned way, on old machinery, and by hand.
They take great pride in their work.  I know, because I visited the factory and met the craftsmen there.

THIS IS FORBIDDEN BY HEALTH REGULATIONS AND ALSO MANUFACTURER'S POLICIES.  If there is a manufacturing defect or problem with a new harmonica it can be returned to the Seydel USA service center of the manufacturer for free warranty work.
