Original Korean War US Rear Seam Swivel Bale Helmet & Capac W Liner MEDIC PANEL?

Description

This is an authentic Korean War helmet complete with liner. I am not sure if the medic panel on front is original to the helmet. The steel pot has no cracks with a few small dings on the very top. Measures approx 11 inches from front to back and 9 1/4 inches from side to side. Rear seam with swivel bales. Serial #’d on the inner front (see photo 7). Liner is black with the Capac and Westinghouse maker marks on the dome (see photo 10). No cracks on the liner. Sweatband reads Cooney 1229-C and there is also another name on one side of the inner area of the liner that I cannot distinguish (see photo 12). There is some glare in the photos that could not be avoided. Shipping and handling is .91 within the Continental United States only.
