    Description

    Very hard to find Khaki HBT M-43 Cargo Pants with a
    zipper
    fly. It is my understanding the US Military began experimenting with zippers around 1950, a few manufacturers tried zippers while others stayed with buttons. The zipper is made by Waldes USA, there are no tags on this garment. I have only seen one other M-43 with a zipper (Waldes USA), that piece utilized 13 Star buttons while the garment up for auction here has brown Bakelite buttons on pockets and top of fly. These pants have the lowered pockets (only two side pockets) for easier access when wearing a coat (later pattern). Nice condition, no holes, tears or stains. The only wear is on one belt loop as shown in the photo. Ships USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope to US addresses. No returns.
