    Description

    Korea Era British RAF Royal Air Force Bailout Folding Machete Survival Knife w/Broad Arrow Proof - Dated 1951 - Very Nice Condition
    Up for sale is a Korea Era British RAF Royal Air Force Bailout Folding Machete Survival Knife.  This machete does not have blade guard.  These guards are normally missing on most examples of this machete.  The blade is bright, one spot of discoloration near the tip.  No nicks or chips in the blade.  The blade is marked: IB/4465 E.&C.S. & Dated 1951.  It has the British Broad Arrow Proof mark.   The blade is 10" long, with an overall lenght of 15 1/2".  It is RARE to find a British Marked example of this machete.
    This machete was adopted in October 1942, by the US Army Air Force for the B-4 Emergency Bail Out Kit, usually attached to the parachute harness.
