I graduated 1977, my friends mother worked at J.C. Penny's
He wanted to transfer his albums, and 8 tracks to
cassette
This premium set up was his graduation present 7.00
It came as a set, has sat on the same shag carpet since
The 8-TRACK works I played Elvis
The Radio works, it's playing 70's rock as I type
The lid won't open on the cassette (closed for over 40 years)
Turntable probably needs a belt
table does not spin on it's own
but record plays through the speakers when spun
Belt available on ebay for .99
The original speakers did not sound that great in 1977
but they are included
not as good of condition as the stereo and cart
We hooked it up to nice speakers and it sounded pretty good
Please note the chip of plastic missing from the left rear of the smoked cover (
difficult
to notice)
