Description
Some soldier in 1953 was issued this little 98 page manual when he/she reported to Fort Monmouth, NJ for training before going to Korea. Most of the major installations had one like this or something similar to help a newly assigned troop settle into his or her new duty station. But he never filled it out and gave it back to his first shirt. This one is pretty comprehensive. Lots of information about what is available on the post. There is even a list of "Organizations Considered by The Attorney General to Have Interests in Conflict with those of the United States." About 3 pages of those. Fort Monmouth was the Signal Corps headquarters and main training post and was pretty active as the new "sparky" stuff came on board. Book is in very nice condition and is complete.Learn what it was like in 1953 on Fort Monmouth post.
