    Description

    This vintage recipes book was issued jointly for the Department of the Army (TM 10-412) and the Department of the Air Force (AFM 146-3) in November 1950. The supplement followed in November 1951. Published by the U.S. Government Printing Office, these publications measure approximately 9 inches by 6 inches. The cookbook is 497 pages; the supplement is 37 pages. Together they have hundreds of recipes sized for 100 portions.
    Both publications are complete with solid bindings and wear consistent with what appears to have been light to moderate use. The exterior of the recipes book shows extensive soiling and staining, and there is staining to the back cover and pages of the supplement. Both were timestamped by the unit that received them in 1954.
